Awesome.

I enjoyed listening to this all the way to the end!

The intro was superb, and I like your choice of instruments, especially the drums in this one. It adds a powerful touch along with the piano near the end.. the sudden end.

Perhaps you could've added more patterns such as solo's to improve this, but it's pretty damn good tbh.

Thanks man. Yeah a solo of sorts would've been good, although the strings in the track are constantly changing. Maybe with the next one as it'll have a more solid structure. Thanks again.

Not your everyday song.

It has an unique touch to it.

The start reminded me of the music they play at weddings, lol. Then the beat kicked in and it became pretty 'easy listening' and I enjoyed it. You've used a nice variety of instruments, and the beat itself could be used in a videogame. Like on the overworld map in RPGs.

I think you could've used more variation though. At the end of the song I pretty much wondered when it was going to end. Nice song, nonetheless.

Chymo responds:

Thanks again for reviewing. Do you really think it could be used in an RPG? I might start making music intended for games, Flash games at least. Like with the person below I may revisit it in the future.

Pure.

As xxprohotshot said, it sounds a lot like the intro of FF X.

The song's beautiful and I think you've really opened my eyes to classical music. I'm mostly into metal, but I'm very open minded. My room seems pretty empty listening to this, and it makes you think. It's so straight forward, and soothing.. calming.

Favorited and downloaded. I'm going to listen to more of your work. You're a very talented artist, and you deserve to be on the top30 list.

It's funny that you mention how you are opening your eyes to classical, as I am beginning to appreciate heavy rock music as of late. I think that it is valuable to have a wide listening variety. Thanks for the compliment and review. :)

NICE bass.

You really like that instrument, don't you? Oh well, I won't blame you, It *does* sound epic, after all.

Though, this song is slightly overdone. Overdone as in you try to fit to many notes in a certain period of time. Perhaps that's what you wanted, I don't know. It just sounds a bit off, in my opinion. Still good though, I like your bass.

NeverHundred responds:

Yeah, I do a lot of layering of notes. I like holding notes of one instrument than adding different pitches than ending them all at the end of the measure.

A lot of people complain that I clutter my songs. I've always had a thing against minimalism, sure there are plenty of good artists that take that route... but it sounds so empty to me. I guess it's a preference thing.

Strange.

Pleasently suprised. I've heard one of your other tracks and it didn't really appeal to me, but I really like the strange, light form of ambience in this one. I don't really know how to say something helpful, because.. if I'm honest, this is out of my league. Anyway, it sounds awesome - keep it up!

NeverHundred responds:

Yeah this was is a song where I just knew what I wanted from it, but I still ended up surprising myself and surpassing my own expectations. I had made similar songs before this, I lost them though. And now I'm moving on to more unstable and experimental grounds.

Maybe I'll try transferring some of the elements of these older tracks with the stuff I'm working on now.

March!

I like the drums in this track. They fit into an 'imperial march' sort of theme. I'm guessing you wanted to make something like that, and you've succeeded.

It's very repetitive though, and it doesn't loop perfectly (last few notes are cut off.)

Thanks man.

Incredible!

I've heard this a few months back when I played AoW, but I've never really took the time to listen to the music itself. Glad I took the time, because it's really outstanding.

Great use of instruments, some moments of rest, kick ass beat and a lot of variation.

Great stuff

It's so energetic, it's DnB to it's fullest - I love it. Keep it up, and hope to hear some more of your work soon!

I've added you to my favorite artists, to see how you'll do with better programs. Don't mess it up. :P Better programs often mean more work and learning to be done.
