So ye, yesterday my computer reported an infection of 2-3 trojans when I got back home which is odd, because I didn't download anything. So it had huge problems shutting down and it crashed upon trying to reboot. I could start in safety mode yesterday after, but not even that anymore and I'm worried sick that I'll lose my database of samples and VSTi's, not to mention countless project files and mp3s - No more music for a while, that's for sure.

It'll find EVERYTHING that's invaded your computer and get rid of it.
After it's done, you can try to back up your files onto an external. After THATS done, do a system restore to factory settings.
The same sort of thing happened to me.
Guess what program reported the trojans. XP
Funny coincidence, hehe. But it didn't save me. :(
